In order to meet the deadlines of the project or multiple consolidated projects, the Scheduler provides support by creating and managing the necessary planning tools (both in terms of time and resources), working closely with the technical experts and the project director or the project manager.

 

More specifically, the Scheduler is responsible for the portfolio projects scheduling during both Lead to Order (LtO) and Order to Cash (OtC) processes with the following objectives:

At project level

Strategy:

Define with the sales team (during LtO) the most suitable planning structure to ensure a suitable scheduling of the project

List and sequence all activities according to WBS and durations (standard or estimated)

Participate in the elaboration of the schedule process with our suppliers/customers working towards schedule improvement. 

Support the Sales team during working sessions with the customers or suppliers

Adapt if needed with the project team (during OtC process) the planning structure to ensure an effective follow-up of the project

Adapt the lists and sequences of all activities according to WBS and durations (standard or estimated) if needed during execution

Together with the project manager, analyze and challenge the schedules (Supplier, Customer, Internal). Adapts and feeds the corresponding indicators.

Participate in the elaboration of the proofs of delays/non-delays in the litigation process with our suppliers/customers.

Support the project team during dispute meetings on deadlines with the customer or suppliers

Evaluate current processes and recommend changes to improve planning efficiency

Operations :

Collect and analyze all necessary information plan projects

List and sequence all activities according to WBS and durations (standard or estimated)

Identify and include external interfaces (Customers, Suppliers...)

Implement progress update rituals through the various departments involved in the project 

Generate forecasts, backlog reports and advances, and any other useful documentation to track and manage projects

Analyze the critical path, highlight delays and suggest options to reduce risks

Verify schedule consistency with delivery dates

Identify and resolve issues that lead to scheduling errors

Analyze the impact of a change request

Challenge the organization to control and reduce delays

At entity level:

Understands and uses standardized planning methods and tools

Collaborate with schedulers community within Industry and Environment sectors and under the coordination of the SERM Scheduler in order to propose and implement standardized planning solutions and best practices

o Participate in the administration of planning tools

o Ensure a technological watch and benchmark in its field of expertise

o Propose and implements rapid solutions for small projects or pre-projects

o Implement a consolidation tool to analyze workloads and progress by business line or other level of filter/grouping to help team managers better control their department's activities.

o Implement follow-up tools

 

Master's degree in project management, or in a related field

You have minimum 5 years’ experience in project scheduling in an industrial environment, 

Certification as a PMI scheduling professional (PMI-SP) will be advantageous.

Advanced proficiency in project scheduling software (ideally MS Projects).

Extensive experience in schedule planning and management.

In-depth knowledge of the scope of projects within similar industrial projects.

Advanced ability to evaluate project progress and facilitate interventions.

Ability to keep stakeholders informed of project timelines and changes.

Excellent organizational, time-management, and communication skills.

Fluent in English (strong written, verbal, and proven presentation), French is a plus.

The Scheduler must be available for temporary missions, sometimes on short notice, including international travel.

You will have to act as administrative and executive support to the Project Director or the Project Manager in the execution of engineering projects. The Deputy Project Manager provides support in the coordination and management of one or more projects with the main objectives of achieving results within budget, meeting deadlines and satisfying customers. He/she will implement the Environment, Health and Safety policy within the project and for himself/herself, integrating safety aspects, quality and environmental standards.

More specifically, the Deputy Project Manager will have to tackle the following main responsibilities:

Ensures the effective follow-up, signature on closure, of supplier orders in order to guarantee the quality, budget and delivery times 

Handle all the financial aspects of the orders followed up (amended orders, reception,approval of invoices and bank guarantees, management of claims, etc.)

Handles the administrative follow-up of the orders in the tools used (SAP, cash flow curve, etc. …

Carries out the documentary follow-up

Updates schedules and takes the necessary action in the event of drifts

Drafts/checks the shipment documents in accordance with the contractual requirements and documentary credit requirements

Organises shipments in accordance with the contractual requirements, if applicable.

Coordinates the actions of the support roles (purchases, expediting, traffic, quality, construction, etc...

Prepares the data of the ProMoCoRe (Project Monitoring Control and Report – John Cockerill’s Project Management tool)

You have an engineering or a business degree (bachelor or master),

You have minimum 7 years’ experience in Project Management in an industrial environment 

Mastery of the Office suite (spreadsheet, graphics, macro) and usual project management software, knowledge of SAP is an asset

Fluent in English (strong written, verbal, and proven presentation), French is a plus.

You will have to act as administrative and executive support to the Project Management Team in the execution of engineering projects. The Assistant Project Manager provides support in the coordination and management of one or more projects with the main objectives of achieving results within budget, meeting deadlines and satisfying customers. He/she will implement the Environment, Health and Safety policy within the project and for himself/herself, integrating safety aspects, quality and environmental standards.

 

More specifically, the Assistant Project Manager will have to tackle the following main responsibilities:

Work with suppliers

o Preparation of internal documents (Kick-off meeting, preparing purchase requests for the Purchasing dept…)

o Carries out the documentary follow-up and maintaining the Master Document List and the documents exchanged and request supplier documents (ITP, planning, engineering documents, certificates)

o Maintaining listings and document tracking (packing-list, lists of documents exchanged)

Work with customers

o Carries out the documentary follow-up and maintaining the Master Document List and the documents exchanged

o Maintaining the Change of Scopes List with the Customer

o Help on the creation of operating manuals or MDB (Manual Data Book)

Internally

o Participation in project kick-off meetings, project team meetings

o Help on shipment documents

o Various checks (document savings on SharePoint, document search, …)

o Help on monitoring and reporting of budgets in SAP 

o Help on preparation of the data for the ProMoCoRe (Project Monitoring Control and Report – John Cockerill’s Project Management tool)

 

You have a bachelor degree in secretary, administration or business,

You have minimum 5 years’ experience in Project Management support in an industrial environment 

Mastery of the Office suite (spreadsheet, graphics, macro) and usual project management software, knowledge of SAP is an asset

Fluent in English (strong written, verbal, and proven presentation), French is a plus.

Coordinate with all departments for activities related to travel, ticket bookings, travel insurance, forex, visas, vehicle bookings so as to complete it on time by communicating to the concerned persons.

Coordinate with external travel agencies for visa’s, ticket bookings as per the travel requisition received.

Manage and coordinate with all departments for any changes/deviations in travel plans.

Manage and coordinate with workshops related to administration bill process in SAP, timely processing for payments, maintain records of services rendered and maintaining monthly billing details.

Preparation of travel statements received.

Preparation of letters to consulates.

Online Travel Insurance Policy issuance.

Process monthly bills, preparing monthly provisions, monthly MIS related to all administrative bills and ensure follow up with accounts for timely payment.

Graduate from a reputed university with around 8 to 10 years of experience, in a large multinational company.  

Knowledge of computer proficiency is a must
